"Everything has changed, even though Bugashev’s themes remain essentially the sam: looking-glass reflection, plastic metaphors of objects and bifurcation expanding into propagation and splitting.... The obvious fact is that Nalbi Bugashev, who has always demonstrated enviable courage and culture and who knows full well that art is born of unending movement forward, has risked to take to the road in search of his new self, as yet unknown and seeing the world, together with his place in it, in a different, perhaps, harsher way. It is difficult to say whether he will stay long where he is now. The more intriguing it is to watch whither Bugashev’s gift takes him, to what Streets and Situations. he has just set out on his Walk and everything lies in store."
