Gertsev Gallery presents the group show «Landscape» from its collection of European contemporary artists. The show will hold an opening reception on Friday, January 28, 6:00 pm-10:00 pm, and will continue daily gallery hours through March 28.
This group of artists displays a wide range of technique and style, as well as format and texture. Among the works and artists represented are:
- «A Green Street» by Nalbi Bugashev, a minimalist who «discards the superfluous and modifies the rest».
- «City on Water» by anti-primitivist Oleg Djubenko whose works include more graphic qualities.
- «Tiblisi» by Kako showing the city in a colorful and primitive style.
- «Montmartre» by Konstantin Sutyagin who also portrays impressionist scenes of the Seine and Venice.
Each artist expresses his individuality and genuine conceptualism of the landscape, while all encourage viewers to react emotionally to their work. Photographs from the exhibit are available upon request in JPG and GIF formats.
